Following on from the global health crisis that changed the pharma landscape, regulators are tightening up on testing, security and environmental compliance.
As Neelam Lalwani, Global Head of Quality at ACG Films & Foils, says: “Meeting industry standards has never been so daunting nor as challenging for the packaging industry, and it’s about to get even more complex.”
In response, the company is hosting a webinar on 20 October, entitled: ‘Demystifying pharma packaging regulations now and in the future’.
Neelam Lalwani adds: “It is vitally important for packaging companies to be fully up-to-speed with issues such as leachables, extractables and sustainability – terms which may not be familiar to everyone.
“With deep knowledge and experience, our team of experts at ACG have been there too. This is why we have chosen to host this webinar – to support packaging specialists with an overview of the current situation, share first-hand industry insights and give them a ‘heads up’ over what requirements they’ll need to look out for in the future.”
Neelam Lalwani, who has more than 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical and FMCG sectors, and deep regulatory knowledge will be joined by Guy Calgano, vice-president Global Sales & Marketing. With over 24 years of experience in packaging sales and development, Guy has helped many customers find ideal solutions to their packaging requirements.
The event will be monitored by Peter J. Schmitt, the Managing Director of Montesino, North America. Peter began his career in the early 1980’s selling various types of polymeric raw materials (film, sheet and synthetic resin) to the medical, pharmaceutical and electronics industries. Today, he leads Montesino to take on new challenges including sustainability in packaging.
The event will be held on Wednesday 20 October at 11am EST/5pm CET. To register for the event, please click on the following link: Demystifying pharma packaging regulations now and in the future. – Films&Foils (acg-world.com)
